Antonio and Luis were amazing host The property is centrally located. You are minutes away from delicious food, fabulous coffee, and a lot of arts and crafts. Oh and they have a very friendly dog that lounges in the sun and appreciates a good head rub. 10/10

⸻ I stayed at Hotel Artesanos XI from April 3rd to 6th, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly honest, reliable, and always willing to help. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. He also has a dog named Bazzi — super cute and energetic, definitely the little star of the place! The location is excellent — just a 4-minute walk from the main square, so it’s very convenient but also peaceful and quiet. Although the room doesn’t have a TV or air conditioning, I was out hiking during the day and felt tired when I came back. After a shower and with decent Wi-Fi, I just relaxed with my phone and slept well. The whole atmosphere felt calm, safe, and cozy. If you’re visiting Tepoztlán and looking to connect with the energy and tranquility of the mountains, I highly recommend this hotel!

My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at Artensanos 11. Antonio and his dog Pach were excellent hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the market, recommended some local food for us, and showed us the church. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything in the town, only a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the main hike to the temple. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful, not noisy at all. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to hangout, watch the sunset and have some drinks - a great retreat from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. I had read other reviews that said this hotel was too basic because there was no tv in the room, but if you are watching tv on vacation in tepoztlan, you’re doing it wrong! We had everything we needed during our stay at Artesanos 11! Would love to come back :) thank you so much Antonio!! P.S. Eat the Cecina de res tacos at Tacos Luna in the main square (little blue taco stand right by the taxis) - they will blow your mind.

El señor que atiende el hotel y su hijo son increíblemente amables y atentos. Sólo tuvimos un inconveniente con el agua caliente y fueron muy atentos al respecto. La ubicación es increíble.

La ubicación del lugar está muy bien, prácticamente a 3 minutos del centro caminando, por lo que todo en realidad queda muy cerca (tiendas, farmacias, bancos, restaurantes). La atención 10/10 muy amables desde el primer momento, Don Antonio siempre atento y amable, acompañado de su preciosa husky. El señor te recomienda lugares para visitar e ir a comer, así como actividades por hacer (nosotros fuimos en día de muertos). La limpieza todo okay. El internet con buena señal. Un lugar muy acogedor y cómodo para descansar. P. D. No tiene tv (nosotros creímos que sólo no aparecía en las fotos) El guardarropa es un poco pequeño, pero funcional.
