"This is my favourite budget-friendly hotel to stay at in the UK. This is my second stay and this time it was during a heatwave, so I really appreciated the a/c. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The showers are powerful, the beds could be more comfortable, but they will do. The hotel is a two minute walk from a massive Waitrose supermarket and the rooms come equipped with a mini fridge to store whatever you need to. "New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby. Still need to fix some teething problems - coffee pods and machine provided weren’t matched, no air conditioning in the room (we stayed during a heat wave - electric fan kindly...

"Beds were terrible we had 2 single twins so not comfortable i woke up on the first night with awful back ache like never before I could of cired when I woke up. My mum has fibro all her bones where hurting her when she got up they put extra mattress topper on but didn't make any better I had to sleep in the chair that was more comfortable when complaining the lads didn't understand it was the manager we will not be staying at hilton hotel again it was very disappointing"

"Everything that the inn had to offer was amazing. Great service and friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Our only one concern was the smokers that were below our room on the patio. They were there both nights until 11pm. Our room windows let the smoke in, so we had to close them and the room got hot and it took a long time for the smell to clear. Lovely setting and we would definitely come again."

"This is my hometown and I was visiting from Canada. Lovely room nice and clean. I ended up with an accessible room which was lovely but no drawers or cupboard to store clothes which was a bit odd. Front desk staff awesome and friendly lots of tea and coffee for the room The one gentleman in the restaurant made my stay with giving me ice and being so chipper they breakfasts are a fantastic deal I’ll be back Please consider placing fridges in the room! That was the only annoyance"

"Excellent location in central Reading. Rooms are clean and modernized with functional air conditioning, which was needed in the hot summer. There was noise from upstairs but staff helpfully gave me a complimentary upgrade into a nicer room. Room rate was very reasonable. Would definitely visit Garner again!"
