"This an impotant historic property with fabulous grounds but has been upgraded to a clinical level. Very clean but no soul. Needs aome fwminine touches. Shelving, pictures, hooks etc. No retaurant facilities or breakfast. Basic but adequate"

Waited an hour for someone to answer the phone to then guide us through a Crystal Maze challenge to get our keys and type in the access code to enter the place. Room had a smell of disposed vapes and late night Chinese takeaways sat in bed on your own wondering where it all went wrong.The shower was that sad and weak I could here it crying during the night."

"Peaceful, clean surroundings. Helpful, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, choosing from both continental and cooked (vegetarian for me). Loved my double room on the top floor. All very enjoyable. Thankyou."
