"It has been my ne favorite for the last 3-4 years .I always stay there and i travel 3 to 4 times to Nola. Too bad there's no discount for me ,unless i book directly with them ."

"Wonderful experience throughout my stay in New Orleans! The room was very clean and beautifully decorated, fresh towels, toiletries were provided daily. The hotel sits in a very strategic place close to many sights, restaurants, and beautiful walks (Bourbon St, Frenchmen St, etc.) I staff is polite and helpful! "

"I loved my stay at The Mercantile! The room was like a small suite with a living area that included a sofa (bed), tv, coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. It was styled in a retro fashion with albums and a record player. The bed was in a separate room and it was so comfortable that I slept in late the next morning and skipped breakfast. Everything was clean. Last I would like to say that the staff was superb!! I have no complaints. "
