"What a little Gem! Easy to find, great instructions from the Host. Very clean and a super comfy bed. It was very hot whilst we were there but lots of windows which could be opened as well as a ceiling fan and table fan. An absolute plus for me was a cafetière and really nice ground coffee ! About a 25 min walk down hill into Bath and a 10 min bus ride back up. The only negative is the parking but we were able to park next to there church which had no restrictions and we left our car there...

"Very warm welcoming, room was clean throughout, very good size with everything you need. The arm chairs by the window, sleepers and dressing gowns is a wonderful thought from the team towards the guests, not many hosts think about these fine details that makes a huge difference to the guests, specially after a long drive. Breakfast was delightful, a good choice of fruit, cereals, yogurt. Presentation was 5stars. Nothing appears to be too much for staff. On our way out, staff went a bit further...

"A perfect room for visiting Bath. The room was very large well decorated and very comfortable. The host Richard was a Joy very attentive to any of our needs and full of interesting stories. Breakfast in the dining room was something special complete with a spectacular dumb waiter. We will certainly be back!"

"We stayed in a superior double room very large room and massive bathroom - no air con but there was a floor standing fan each side of the bed so nice touch - lovely breakfast room and good selection - the negatives no wardrobe just a small rail with a couple of hangers but ok if it’s just for 1 night - no laundry bag"

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! What a delight! The bath prioriy is Charming s, beautiful, well appointed, and has really very helpful and kind staff. I will be kind and not tell you the hotel I was originally in, but it was horrible. The bath priorit is fantastic! The Spa was an added benefit as are the beautiful gardens! "The buffet breakfast had very good variety, although was a little busy whatever time we went. Room was clean with everything that we needed and good air conditioning and the hotel is in a really good position for visiting all of the sightseeing spots in Bath"
