"Keep in mind they don’t clean or make the bed daily though they empty the trash and provide new towels. Overall it was OK but not great. The folks at the front desk were nice, but seemed disorganized. Our room keys stopped working 4 times during our week long stay and I was told "the colleagues forgot you are staying a week." OK- that explains once, but why did it happen every day? Nothing like coming back after long day sightseeing with sore feet to schlep upstairs and discover your room keys...

"First off the reception staff were exceptionally polite and courteous. Our room was as we'd expected and suited our needs. There was only one hiccup though that the washing machine developed a fault which then took out the cold water supply, but these things happen. We'd definitely stay again, thank you."

"Great hotel, very well appointed, staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great. Rooms were surprisingly large for London, especially with the Marriot Bonvoy upgrades if you have a level that entitles you to an upgrade. Really enjoyed our stay!"

"Had an amazing stay at the Counting House. The staff were so accommodating by taking our luggage in early while we explored the city. Close to all tourist attractions. Booked a dinner for 6 in the gallery above the pub, it was perfect not to mention the prices for the food and drinks were excellent! Will definitely be back!"

"Lovely stay at the Ibis Southwark. A warm welcome on arrival and we were able to get an early check in which was much appreciated. Room was spotlessly clean, tea and coffee provided in room as were bathroom toiletries. Ideally situated near the South Bank and Borough Market. Continental breakfast was varied and plentiful, the fresh pastries were delicious, We loved the quirky decor which added real character to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful, We haven’t stayed here before...

"Every staff person we interacted with was friendly, helpful and professional. The apartment was small but suited our needs. The combo washer/dryer took forever to wash/dry a load and settings were difficult to understand. Overall, I would recommend this accommodation."

"Having stopped at the Holborn Hoxton many times, we have this one a go when visiting nearby for a party. The rooms were nice - nicer than the Holborn hotel, with higher ceilings making them feel roomier. Decor is great throughout the hotel and staff were friendly. Only major downfall is the breakfast - the full English is missing many components, and those there were pretty lacklustre, apart from the bacon. Service was confused, brining me 2 coffees, neither of which seemed to be a flat white...
