"Fantastic in every way"

"quick walk into the downtown, Very comfortable bed and maybe the best shower ever. Mini bar was free, decent snacks and drinks. 1 small complaint, there was only 1 chair in the bedroom, 1 person had to sit on the bed and the other in the chair while we had our wine. Overall top notch hotel that I would go back to in a heartbeat"

"I would have rated our stay a 5 except for one issue that was not resolved to our satisfaction. The washer did not drain properly and the staff took our clothing to rewash and dry them while the machine was repaired. No one ever came to repair the machine and when my clothes were returned, they were stuffed in a laundry bag and did not appear clean. This hotel has many levels and stairs are unavoidable. "We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had black out curtains. I sent a message in advance asking for the beds in one of the rooms to be separated and they were each made with their own duvet and bedding, which we really appreciated (they were separated a couple of inches which was sufficient for us). "Arrived with my teenage son for two nights. Located in a great area very walkable to amenities and shopping. Staff were nice. However, for a 5 Star property at this price point it was a terrible experience. 1. Power outlets all stopped working within 2 hours. Maintenance came and fixed it- one hour. 2. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Hanover Apartments. A very convenient location, close to Princes Street, trams, restaurants and shopping. The room was large and clean. Checking was really simple and we appreciate the use of codes for the door."

"Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely. The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!) Will definitely return"
