"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."

"Our apartment was very spacious and stylishly decorated, with direct access to the garden and pool. The fridge was stocked with milk, yoghurt, cheese, ham and jams. Every morning, you received bread and a small pastry. However, it might have been nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast. The location was good for us. It’s out of the very centre of Lisbon, but it is located just 10/15 minutes walk away from the old area of Lisbon."

"Basic hotel. Rooms clean but small. Bathroom in need of a little maintenance. No bar and outside courtyard space very disappointing. Didn’t take breakfast at €15 each - instead used the excellent ‘Breakfast’ lovers, a few minutes walk away. Staff on front desk friendly and helpful when asked. Hotel in very good central location, but on a steep hill. Very quite within the hotel, except the rumble of the 28e tram."

"Het was geweldig, super mooie kamer met heerlijk bed en douche. Gratis water en omdat wij geen koffie lustten kregen we een theekoepel met thee. Elke dag nieuw water. Goede service, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Echt geïnteresseerd. Lekker ontbijt, dit hadden we niet verwacht gezien de grootte van het hotel. Er was een divers ontbijt gedacht ook aan gluten of lactose. Je kon kiezen hoe je je eigen wilde. En niet te vergeten hele goede locatie voor sightseeing!! En heerlijke...

"My room was clean but there was a water tank in my room that had the sound of dripping water at various times of the day especially at night when I was trying to sleep. Also, the rooms are not soundproof and I could hear the couple next door to me talking!"
