Hotel dekat Monastery of São Vicente de Fora

"Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location....

"We had a wonderful time at Antiga Casa Pessoa. We came in July, so it was a little hot, but the staff made a real effort to make it enjoyable and comfortable. They were also kind whenever we needed anything. The location was perfect, with easy access to entertainment, restaurants, and so much more."

Watch out for rooms facing the inner courtyard as this is where the restaurant is located and they play music from 07:30 until 22:30 - just don't do it - it's loud, affects your travellers who are on business and trying to sleep and also disturbs generally.
