"Overall the stay was good, with just a couple of points that let it down. Breakfast on the first morning was quite disappointing in that we sat down and it was 35 minutes before our order was taken and another 20 minutes before it arrived. There were a number of vases of wilted/dead flowers around the rooms. Silly point, but the toilet roll holder was impossible to use without the roll coming off and shooting across the floor. "We have a wonderful stay and we couldn't fault anything. Would recommend to anyone. We had the surlington junior suite and it was a very high standard, loved the bathroom with roll top bath. Staff very helpful and breakfast was lovely."

"Basic hotel. Clean but very basic room. Requiring refurbishment. No extras available in room/ bathroom e.g glasses for water, vanity kit, mini bar. Toilet roll very very thin. Body wash dispenser was empty. Breakfast was adequate. Again, very basic. However, staff were very friendly and attentive."

"The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again."
