Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main
The room was a perfect size and not too small. The staff were extremely helpful. If you select the breakfast there get there at 6:25am. The restaurant gets extremely packed. Other than that, I will be using this hotel again for future visits.

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower
It was excellent, and I am told by Japanese friends that this was the best APA hotel they have seen. Three problems: 1) The windows didn't open 2) The A/C on the room only made it cooler, not hotter.
