"I'm a big fan. I think the sauna and the sento are excellent. The rooms are fine. The location is a short walk from the train. It's next to a big shopping center, which is cool. All in all I certainly would consider staying at this location again but I would definitely be trying to book at different Dormian locations in the future because this is my preferred experience here in Japan."

"This place was great. Normally I stay at a major chain hotel in Shinjuku but I think I will be staying here from now on. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in so much light and the space is open and feels really airy. The powered window shades are also great when you want to sleep in too.
Glad there was a washer and dryer unit, because I'm a sweaty boy, especially in humid end-of-summer September. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable and the big shower and bathroom were also super nice. Fridge was nice to...

"I stayed at KOKO HOTEL Ikebukuro for 12 nights during my solo trip to Tokyo.
The location was excellent, with easy access to Ikebukuro Station, restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping areas. It was a very convenient base for exploring Tokyo.
The room was compact but functional, and the hotel offered good value for money. I also appreciated the convenient laundry facilities.
The only downside was the soundproofing. I could occasionally hear loud noises from the neighboring room, which...

"This hotel in a vibrant part of ikibukuro. There's all sorts of nightlife and the food in the area is absolutely amazing. It's not an expensive hotel, which is nice since if you're on vacation in Japan you're probably not spending a lot of time in the room anyway. The rooms themselves are about what you would expect for that kind of money. The staff is absolutely phenomenal."
