"Ok… reviews are not that good .. and I can understand, however the hotel seems in somewhat of a transition period ; (an old hospital conversion it seems with period architecture) ….work being done and plaster foot prints all through the dining hall when we arrived . Man behind desk was helpful and talkative once he understood us (yes , it’s the north and a lot of Asian run hotels now ) and a nice friendly guy. "Very clean and nice room! Everything was very modern and easy to use. Only problem is no fridge or microwave, coming from Canada I’ve learned this is a norm in the UK to not have a fridge or microwave but I wish they did have one! The bar had a good atmosphere and staff was very helpful!"

"This was an amazing stay with wonderful staff and good ambience. Young people or under 50s will really enjoy it. I was not able to maximise my enjoyment because there was no kettle for tea or coffee in the room. Though there is complimentary unlimited drinks in the foyer. You have to come down from your room. That's a No no in my sixties... otherwise I would be back ten times and over"

"Everything about the hotel was fabulous. All staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. Good location. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of food and drinks. Plenty of shops and bars around the hotel. Convenient location for the coop live arena and the Etihad Stadium. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you to everyone who looked after us during our stay."

"Super twin room, beds super comfy and cosy. Shower large and efficient and the bonus of a good all you could eat brekkie. Would suggest shopping around for parking though as found a much cheaper car park than the suggested one. Half the price of the hotels preferred car park and just a 4 minute stroll."
