"The property is a VRBO Style not a hotel. We had problems finding the place initially and had to call Pauline who was very helpful and came out so our Uber driver could get us to the property. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Our room had a beautiful jetted jacuzzi tub and fancy steam shower. Location is very well situated and about 8 minute walk to the pope Palace and adjacent restaurants."

"The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error."

There were also some quirky things about our room, dark steps to the bathroom and the AC doesn’t go above 75 degrees no matter the setting you choose. Our room had a coffee station but no milk and only demitasse cups. Overall the staff was nice but inexperienced for a luxury hotel."
