"Our stay was magical! This was our first experience with a ryokan and also our first night in Kyoto. The staff were very nice & helpful. The shared living space was quiet and clean. The gardens were gorgeous and the food was good. The japanese breakfast was delicious!!!"

"The inn owners are some of the best people you will ever meet!! They're so kind and caring, and I consider them friends for life now. The rooms are so cozy and this property is located right at Nishiki Market, just down the street from historic Gion. Out of all of the ryokons that I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one (Room Momoyama) had the most comfortable futons and the most homely feel.
