Top UK Bungee Club - Manchester 160ft Bungee Jump Hotel Reviews
AC Hotel by Marriott, Manchester Salford Quays
8/10 Good
"A nice, smart, clean hotel. I stayed the night before a university graduation with my wife. Check in was easy and straightforward, and we were up to our room in minutes. Again, very clean and accommodating. We also dined there, our server was Taslima, and they were very friendly, obliging and professional. The food was really tasty and a reasonable price. The whole stay was ideal for what we needed"
"It's an odd place, an odd set up. Check-in is a bit farcical as they insist on your qr code link and registering whilst they stand there waiting. Then that registration needs N official ID, passport or driving licence etc, then you realise you can enter 12345678 a d that is ok. Rooms are decent a d decent sized, no kettle, and cleen shower pod. The blocks housing LL the rooms are odd, hostel feel. Saying all that, they are good value. So there you go"
Hotel Football, Old Trafford, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Surprisingly great stay! We were working at Old Trafford for three days so had three nights at Hotel Football. We wouldn't usually book a theme hotel like this, but actually it's tastefully done and from the moment we arrived the service was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. A particular highlight was the food in Cafe Football, it's such high quality, as is the breakfast. Parking was easy to sort too. All in all a great stay and we would return."
"The hotel is in an excellent location, particularly for Salford Quays, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful, and I had no issues whatsoever with the bed, view or parking.
However, the rooms feel quite outdated for the modern traveller and have not kept pace with what guests expect in 2026. Our room had no fridge, very limited USB charging points and a bathroom that, while clean and functional, was clearly in need of modernisation.
One particularly frustrating issue was the bedside USB ports, which were actually located underneath the bedside table. This made them extremely awkward to access and, with a short charging cable, using a phone comfortably in bed was difficult. In 2026, when guests travel with phones, tablets and smartwatches, easily accessible charging points should really be standard.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on three occasions and found the food quite nice. The hotel's proximity to Salford Quays is also a major advantage and the location itself is excellent.
Overall, the hotel has a great deal going for it. If the rooms were modernised with updated bathrooms, a fridge and better charging facilities, I would score this hotel very highly. The staff and location are excellent, but the rooms need updating to better reflect the needs of today's traveller."
"Room was basic, but did the job. Parking is limited, with alternative option over the road (at McDonald's) for £15 overnight.
Didn't bother with breakfast (£9). Free tea, coffee and filtered water is a nice touch. 24 hour bar! Easy walking to the tram stop. Pub over the road. Tesco metro 200m away."
"The apartment is clean and tidy with everything you need. Good location for the area with a tram stop right outside.
Decent parking included which is a bonus.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommend staying here and using the letting agent that deal with the property."
