Staff was great and let us leave the car in the parking lot while we went out for an amazing breakfast down the street (Brenda’s soul food… also most excellent!) we walked to the Great American Music Hall for a show. "I have stayed here for 20 years, it was The Opal and it has been gorgeously remodeled but has all the things I love before. In and out enclosed parking, Mel’s Diner attached so food mostly anytime, comfortable beds👍, conveniently located at Van Ness and Geary Street so Ubers and cabs etc are easy. Tommy’s Joint an SF favorite for great food, beer and cocktails across the street. And a big movie theater practically next door. Very reasonable price for how nice it is now."
