"Location of the hotel was great, easy to get around. The only problem was, the hotel is next to a railway, and you could hear some train noise. The noise was there but not that bad, I could still sleep. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious.. living room is kind of small. Cleaness could be better, we found stain on one of the bed’s linen. Other than that, it was clean."

"I am a well travelled hotel stayer, over 50 years of travelling under my belt and the Hilton in Melbourne was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff went above and beyond, they facilitated an early check in and a late checkout to work around my flight timings. They let us use the lounge whilst we waited for our room, when we were jet lagged and slept all day, awake all night, they checked up on us to see if we needed anything. "Great location, but the hotel is not in the best condition. "

"We stayed here for the location, the room having a small kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The hotel is needing some renovation, the shower was in the bath and water went everywhere, the soap dispensers were empty in the shower and it seemed they did not have replacements. Having said that the room was a good size, looked out on the river towards Crown. It had parking which we needed. It’s also a little noisy from the trams and trains running in the road where the room looked out on."

"Very clean, decent size room central to the city. If you're sensitive to noise, there's a lot of street noise, the soundproofing in the room isn't great, and there were weird noises in the room that I wasn't sure was the AC or plumbing. There would be random smells of either smoke or sewage sometimes. The view wasn't great because I was on the first floor. The stay itself wasn't bad just not amazing."

"The room was lovely, we found the shower over the bath really awkward when stepping out as there was no grab handle. I loved the premium tea selection. Milk is not available in the room, but you can organise it through reception. We both slept really well as the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quite soundproof to outside noise. Breakfast was amazing. Looking forward to our next stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hyde. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and we had the room with a wonderful view of the entire city . The Bar/restaurant was great & we enjoyed our time staying there. Definitely gonna book again whenever we are back in the city."
