"Brilliant location right beside Tottenham Court Road station! Was a bit disappointed that we had to pay £10 each to have our bags stored until check-in or £20 for early check in. The bed wasn’t very comfortable pretty hard in fact! No coffee making facilities in the room either. Bathroom was clean but the water took forever to warm up. Didn’t have many interactions with staff so can’t comment on that. All in all the location made up for the down points of the hotel and I had a great time in London "

" I recently stayed at the Middle Eight hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience upon departure. After check-out I left my luggage in storage and went out before my flight. Shortly after, I realized that I had accidentally left a sealed box of premium cheeses in my room. The items were fully closed and vacuum-sealed. I returned to the front desk and spoke with Saq, who kindly checked with the team and informed me that the housekeeper had already taken the items and could return them in about 40 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to leave for the airport and could not wait. What troubled me most was not the mistake, but the handling of it. I was clearly told that my belongings were with a staff member who had taken them. In a hotel of this level, personal items left in a room should be placed in the lost and found, not taken home by staff. I contacted the hotel about this issue a week ago and, disappointingly, no one has responded. This situation left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed with the way it was handled."

"Internet was intermittent room was clean and slow in getting serviced but it’s a big hotel so that’s not unusual. Location was great for all of London attractions shows and even being back to Heathrow was a short walk to the tube and a very quiet train ride right into Heathrow … I’d definite stay there again "

"Ideal for overnight stay. Walking distance to Kings Cross/St Pancras. Rooms modern and compact. Staff efficient and helpful . Bar etc in Lobby. Downside no tea making facilities in the room. Overall excellent value for money."
