"Couldn’t fault the hotel"

"A reasonable location; close to the train station but a bit of a walk from the centre of town. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable and generous size. great bathroom with separate bath and shower. evening buffet is excellent value with quality food and drink. would recommend cons: poor air con so room was too hot"

"Property is a maze"

"For some reason my room card (room 413) wouldn't work on the 3rd evening, which was a problem as it was after 10.30 in the evening, and i was a single 69 year old traveller. I returned to reception and the card was reset, i returned again to the 4th floor to find it still wasn't working. A member of staff then escorted me to the access door on the 4th floor to ensure it worked the 3rd time."

"Superb reception staff, but breakfast staff were a bit aloof and grumpy. Room service staff did not carry out two requests correctly. Beds were poorly made up. No female sanitary bags were provided. Breakfasts were well laid out and gave a lot of choice, but cooked items were not hot, and the plates were cold. The hotel itself was a very pleasant place to stay."

"Fine hotel, undergoing renovations. Not a bother and saw no construction or workers. Only one problem was the heating/cooling system, was listening to the fan all night and woke me several times. I would recommend they put an instruction on how to turn it off. According to the receptionist on check out, she recommended taking the key card out which powers lights and sockets etc and the fan will turn off. With no power at the outlets how do I charge my devices overnight? Please look at an...
