"What a little gem in the heart of Bristol! We never knew it was there before. In a great location so close to the theatre, shops, bars and eateries but despite that it’s very quiet. We received a lovely warm welcome, the room was spotless, bed very comfortable and plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries supplied. "I have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. Staff are always super friendly and very welcoming. You get a real welcoming ‘local pub’ feel when you go in. The bar area is really cosy and the food is fantastic-large portions and a good choice on the menu. Sunday roast is great too!! Rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. An excellent place to stay so I would highly recommend. "
