"The only positive thing about the Surfside was the location. I was on the 3rd floor corner room, where the window facing the ocean had no screen and was sealed shut. Staff said “it was for safety reasons “, but I pointed out that the other two rooms next to me had open windows. The only other window was in the bathroom, behind the toilet, a crank out, and was labeled “the fire escape “. The was a ladder attached to the house ,next to it.
