"This motel is literally in the heart of downtown Chicago right off I-90. The room was clean, modern, and was a nice place to sleep and shower. Walkable distance to Soundbar, which I caught a show at while I stayed here. I felt comfortable walking around the area and the parking lot is safe. They have a reasonable parking and incidentals fees. Breakfast was included from the attached deli, but I did not try it, unfortunately. "My wife and I chose the red roof inn because of proximity to an event, price, and because of reviews suggesting that under the new management it as an decent stay. First it’s important to note that we were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk that was happy to check us in and did so efficiently. The entry and front desk clearly were clearly not in a functional lobby in as much as it was a window through which the transition took place. Definitely did not impart any real feeling that this hotel...
