"The hotel was very central to many transport hubs, eateries, tourist attractions and shopping areas. We were able to do much of what we wanted in close proximity to the hotel.

"What a lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and considerate. I was a little disappointed with the view from our suite as we couldn't see anything but a corridor. The other downside was that the room only had green tea and earl grey teabags in the room and we had to ask for English teabags the following morning. "I’ve stayed at The Strand twice now and loved my experience both times. It’s an affordable upscale hotel in a great central location. Many main attractions are within walking distance. For those that aren’t, there are several tube stations nearby to get you where you need to go. I’ve stayed both as a solo traveler and with family. It’s a perfect stay for both. The Haxell breakfast was great. In the evening, Matt behind the bar made the best cocktails. Highly recommend this hotel."
