"The hotel and services were excellent and the grounds and scenery were stunning - beautiful views every where you looked, . The staff were brilliant, extremely pleasant - very attentive and personal. We experienced a slight miscommunication between the hotel and spa on our last day, but the staff at the spa did their best to accommodate. Would highly recommend both hotel and spa for a relaxing break."

"We loved staying in this gorgeous historic inn (established 1106). Our spacious room had lots of character but had also been thoroughly updated for comfort. The bathroom was great, and looked onto an old turnpike stone. Just remember to close the blind before you undress as the large windows reveal all to the neighbours. Super convenient for Heathrow & Windsor and a really nice place to spend a night or two."

The restaurant is good serving great meals.
Only bugbear is that the service at breakfast is ok if you've got all day but not great if you want to get a move on. Why aren't you like other hotels where I can help myself to juice and cereal and that will shave 10 - 15 minutes off the time?"
"We had a great stay! Front desk at check in was fantastic. We had 3 in a room and one bed had no pillows. We called 3 times before someone brought us pillows. I was very frustrated my daughter called twice then I called and asked to speak to manager. Then we got pillows. Other than that great hotel, location and service. "
