Inns in West Yorkshire

"As always...simply lovely, staff always very nice and helpful, breakfast yummy, room and beds excellent...5th stay.. wouldn't stay anywhere else in Holmfirth!"

"Exceeded expectations all round. Unusual for uk pub bedrooms.. air conditioning! lovely bedroom above the pub, well appointed, comfortable and quiet once closed. New Owners Becks and Tony super helpful and welcoming. Pub itself also great. Will definitely be back in the future"

"Lovely place. We booked last minute and the room was ready. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Very clean room and lots of tea coffee etc in the room. Lee the landlord was great when we arrived even though we had only booked that morning. Really nice pub and food was fantastic. I would definitely not hesitate to come back."

"We were a bit disappointed with this. I’d say the pictures on the site are very flattering. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. I’ve tried to be very fair and even in this review, but this place is not...

"Really kind & friendly staff."

"Local, family managed hotel, located on a beautiful spot of the river. Lovely vibe, and welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional!! It’s not a Holiday Inn /Marriott formulaic residence, much more of an authentic local hotel, so without some of the frills, but the honest warm welcome and great food more than makes up"

"Very helpful staff, good location and nice food"

"Family enjoyed stay for a wedding in Marsden. Also did our catering for the wedding which was great."

"Lovely room, well decorated and equipped. Clean, tidy, spacious. Nice staff, great breakfast too."

"Excellent place to stay. Perfect location, friendly staff and a superb cooked breakfast Maximum stars"

"Wonderful exceeded all expectations. Great staff lovely food look forward to returning."

"Really like our stay. The bed, duvet and pillows gave us an amazing sleep. Breakfast is as good as you will get. The two things to pick on were there was a bit of dust in the rooms and one of the rooms was very stuffy even with the fan on. As the windows only opened a little you couldn’t get much air in the room. "
