"Very disappointed with the volume of dogs in the property. No designated areas in restaurant and one particular dog was allowed to sit on the bench seating unchallenged by staff , very poor management intervention! All bedrooms apparently “dog friendly!” Was not a nice experience and will not be returning. Finally, where was the pool and spa facilities ? Certainly not in the hotel!"

"Room was lovely, but the mattress was obviously old as it sagged in the middle. The hotel is right on a main road so a lot of noise and music playing till very late in the evening. It’s ok for an overnight stay but wouldn’t recommend longer"

Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use. "A perfect venue for the conference centre and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. So much choice and really good quality. Note - we had an accessible room on the third floor. The room was great but the 03:30 fire alarm caused us some issues. Our mistake for not ticking the ‘need assistance’ box at check in."

"For a nights stay in Harrogate this hotel was okay but nothing special. We had to change room as the heat was unbearable in the feature room we booked. Facilities were not great just plain"
