"The hotel is really lovely. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I loved the Masala chai, the dosas and the buffet. All the staff (checkin/restaurant, housekeeping, concierge) are all pleasant, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my stay.
The only comment I have is that my room (executive room) while comfortable was very very plain and boring. The lack of decor was obvious and any expenses associated with adding some color or touch of uniqueness (flowers, vibrant Indian fabric cushions, bed coverlets, etc) would be minimal and would have been nice and made the stay more enjoyable as this is a Taj hotel. The Instagram reels feature rooms that are the renovated rooms. These older rooms pale by comparison. Seeing the hotel’s feeds on Facebook and Instagram daily of the rooms featured made me feel a bit less than."
