"Property is well located in the River North area, with many restaurants and bars. I stayed in one of the queen rooms, which was very clean but small, with a queen size bed, and two small nightstands. There was a metal rack to hang clothes. Perhaps because of the unusual room configurations in converting a historic building, the bath area in my room was spacious compared to the room size. "Modern hotel, took a quick minute to figure out lighting, A/C. Everything was great. Very nice place. Rooftop and lobby bar super nice. Only one minor complaint. My coffee maker wasn’t working so I went to the included breakfast to grab coffee. The host would not let me take coffee back to my room, my only option was to be seated and drink it in the restaurant. I had a teen alone in the room so I just went back to the room. Seemed very silly to not allow my to take coffee to my room. "

"No microwave, cold pool, elevators broke people got trapped we climbed so many stairs. A homeless man lived in the alley you had walk through to travel. The ceilings were just concrete with weird chalk on them the Window covering gets stuck when you use it we had to put it on track to use it. When you call on the room phone for service you talk to an automated machine for awhile, "

"I didn't use any amenities but the location is great, staff were very responsive and friendly. Cool old building. I found the light el train noise quite soothing to fall asleep and wake to."

"Older building. Hallway smelled like trash. The bed linens appeared wrinkle making me think that perhaps the sheets weren’t changed. Because it’s a budget hotel, young people stayed here and were extremely loud. "

However, I was surprised by a daily historic preservation fee that was added to my bill. Future guests, please make sure you know about this fee ahead of time, as it isn’t included in the room rate. While my stay was overall pleasant, I would have appreciated knowing this in advance so I could plan better.”"

"We had a fantastic experience staying at the London house. Staff was very helpful. Room service experience was spot on. Fast and fresh! Room was very clean and the view was a plus. Located minutes from the Magnificent Mile. "

"If you have a car be prepared to pay 50/night for parking which is pretty common for all downtown properties. This property is affordable so it does offset the cost.fpr parking. Smaller rooms are perfect for solo traveler or a very close couple lookingfor an intimate space. The only other thing is you can hear the party crowd at 3AM on Saturday night after bar close but that might be common for downtown property. Great staff, awesome free coffee, ice water and bacon, egg, cheese breakfast...
