"This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. "

"Clean room, helpful and friendly staff, pool was great but changing rooms were a bit old and in need of a refresh (as is the whole hotel, such as the carpets and corridors being musty with peeling paint); rooms and restaurant and bar areas were all very clean and well-maintained. The property as a whole just needs some attention and upgrading. "

"The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21."

"Get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful and budget friendly. Continental breakfast was nice, option to upgrade to cooked breakfast for £5pp, but that's in the hotel over the road. Room was small but comfortable and had everything needed for an overnight stay."

"A very run down hotel. We are used to staying in basic accommodation but this was not pleasant. We experience lots is negative things unfortunately, the worst being the smoke that we could smell in our room coming from the next door guests. There is definitely people living indefinitely here.The bathroom floor vinyl was Peeling off, carpet looked dirty and lots of hairs in the bathroom. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but this was an exception. The only positive was the parking. "

"This is a new first rate hotel, close to the opera house Manchester. Upon arrival a warm welcome by staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. We have stayed in great rooms over the years but this had everything including bath in the bedroom, walk in wardrobe with Peleton well stocked bar. We ate Dinner at the hotel and had done previously. "Hotel needs an update. Staff were nice enough and all the bits you need were there but the customer experience was lacking. Our room was lovely, if cold. The radiators only work part of the time. The characterful bathroom did not have a big enough radiator - no lingering in the bath with just a tidgy towel rail to heat you ( a tall ceiling and giant window.) There was very little phone signal (not their fault of course), but the wifi was atrocious, barely there and dropping out regularly -...
