"I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat."

"It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated."

"This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Even though they state it, a hotel with no elevator, no air conditioning in the common areas and with windows that would let in any noise from the street ( thankfully I did not stay on a weekend) cannot be consider as such. The carpet is dirty and dusty in common areas and so are the sofas A good point was the staff, which was nice."

"Great location right by the seafront - the room was spotlessly clean, and though there's no breakfast available the snacks/refreshments there were greatly appreciated. You're also right by some independent cafes and walking distance of all the major chains so you're not limited on choices. There was a very njce lady there to greet us at check in who let us in and explained how to work the blinds/front door etc. My only negatives were - A) difficult initially to get a response to a query; I...

"Too hot during heat wave, the room was at 33 degree while outside was just around 20. No cooling system. But it’s a good location and and the room is very tidy."

"This property functions like a guest house with a welcoming gal: cozy bedroom-like room; reminiscent of a big English home. And the windows actually open! Unlike traditional hotels where an open window is unheard of! Convenient stroll to the English Channel and beach. It was a sweet spot."

"Lobby area and breakfast area were well laid out. Room met our needs, air con worked well, shower was good. We used the fitness room too which was good size and not too busy. Chose to add on breakfast which had good variety. All staff very friendly. Would recommend."

"Fantastic view of Brighton seafront & pier. Breakfast was reasonable amount. Staff were all friendly & happy. Outdoor space overlooking seafront so did get busy. Ideal location for bus stop with connection to the station & other parts of Sussex. Brighton Pavillion & Lanes about 10 min easy walk. There is a popular nightly club in the basement which could put people off but we didnt find it too noisy on the 2nd floor with window closed. Our window was above front door so heard faint...
