"If you have a meeting at the Presidio, the location is hard to beat. You can roll out of bed and practically be there. Like many hotels on Lombard, this Travelodge is pretty basic. "The hotel room was fantastic. Easy to use AC and spacious room. Little noisy first night from the neighbors bumping around but with the AC running and my own fan, didn't hear anything. Loved the cafe near the lobby. The fireplace was awesome, especially early mornings waiting for the uber driver."

"This motel has easy FREE parking, it is clean, safe, and well presented and maintained. It is extremely well positioned where walking to great hang outs is easy, and driving to great places is equally as convenient. The rooms are not huge, but large enough for a five night stay. I highly recommend the Star Motel."

"Location is great for getting to Fisherman's Wharf. Free parking in SF at hotels is rare, so that is awesome. Area around the hotel is very safe for walking the streets. Lamp did not work on nightstand. Shower head leaked lots of water, but water pressure was good. Beds are very good. Electrical outlets in the room did not look great, but worked. Room 203 Breakfast was packaged pastries, cereal, white bread, juice, tea and coffee but free"

"Although the property is small and parking is tight, this is the cleanest place in which I’ve ever stayed in San Francisco. It was immaculate. The people were friendly and we love staying there."
