"Our check in took over half an hour - we had to wait outside the office! Room - the bathroom door was jammed. We wanted to bath but there was no plug and no offer of another. The worst was there was a very bright spotlight outside our room so was impossible to sleep as so bright as light came through the shutters. Again no offer to remedy Not a great experience"

"I return several times a year to the Laurel Inn. It's safe, clean and comfortable and I love being in this part of the city. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great and safe. There were no facilities in the hotel and the parking space was extremely limited. I had to park the car on the street the first night."

"Parking was limited and if you get back late, you have to park on the street. The bedding is ugly as hell however, the bedsheets were clean and comfortable. The current bedspreads gave that 70s vibe. When you first walk into the room, there’s this musty smell and the ceiling above the shower needs to be looked at this is room 218."

"Room was not clean whatsoever, there were brown curly hairs high up on the restroom ceiling, the floor of and the bathtub was brown. I also found little bits of black stuff on my bed, maybe that was just from the washer machines though it was like black soft pieces of cotton. One rude staff and the rest were great. Bring water as they don’t offer free water bottles which is a bit weird, elevator is very sketchy and closes very fast so watch out. "

"We really liked the location, the bed, the staff who helped us. Overall it was a good stay. I appreciated the ice machine for our refilling our water bottles every day as we headed out to explore the city. Having our luggage held after checkout on our last day was also very helpful. (If you are showering and the motion sensor for the bathroom light times out, just open the shower door a bit and wave your hand)"

"I experienced an issue where my room was not properly secured upon arrival. I checked in around 9 PM, but the first key card I was given didn’t work. After returning to the front desk and getting a replacement, I was directed to another room—only to find that it was already occupied with someone else’s belongings inside. This made me seriously question how the hotel manages its rooms. Although the staff tried to find an available room afterward, I had to wait in the lobby for about more than...
