Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. "Stayed for one night, with my son, for a Mazda MX5 car meet up in the car park- the reason for our stay. The hotel is very nice. We had a meal in the Savvy Fox - i like the decor. The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. "The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake. In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. "Nice place but the shower had many spots of black colored mold. The rest of the bathroom was clean and spacious. The bottom of the shower door, the corners of the shower, the caulk around the soap holder and some grout around the tiles had mold. It was so bad that I took pictures. I only know this about the one room I booked for the night. The hotel building was fine and the theme and names of rooms was fun."

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too.
