"The guy that looked after us, Satoshi, was really nice and very accommodating- he didn't speak english and we didnt speak Japanese but we got by. It was end of season and very quiet feeling like we had the place to ourselves. It was clean and immaculate. The breakfast was beautifully presented and ample. He met uas at the station and dropped us off as well as taking us elsewhere as and when needed. A really good experience and we would return."

"Staying at Wakka is a complete delight! The infrastructure is buikt to be part of the natural environment. The staff are a delight. The bikes for rental are top quality. The half board meal is full of varieties and locally sourced ingredients. My biggest concern was the shared shower facility, but Wakka kept everything clean and spotless. It's simply a delightful place to stay in and rejuvenate. In fact, our family is planning another glamping stay with them again. "

"We had a great day here. Staff was super friendly, and we had the best food. Of all the price was great, and in a location where we were away from the party scene, but still closing enough to get to everywhere we wanted to go to Absolutely amazing staff even when the power went out during nighttime They did recommend Matt’s place for snorkeling trips I won’t recommend. "Our stay at Hoshinoya fell short of expectations. Uncomfortable beds, stuffy rooms, and inadequate lighting marred the experience. "The lodge was absolutely wonderful. We honestly had not slept as well as we did at the lodge anywhere else in Japan. Not sure if it was the mountain air, the onsen, or the large rooms that allowed us to settle in and spread out. The hospitality was incredible; the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, including by providing a bountiful breakfast each morning. My husband and I wish we could have stayed there our entire trip!"

"Cabin was in very good condition. Super warm for snowing weather. Super clean. Check in instructions clean. My friends and I had an amazing stay. 15 min walk (3 min drive) to the Furano ski resort, which has parking up there."

"Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. "

"Very conveiniently located for bird livers as only 600m to Rainforest Discovery Centre. Room is well designed with outsidet but secured toilets which is great for us as we could leave our cameras there during the night to avoid to ac condensation. Staff is hepful, food is ok. Only minus is the steps to reception and room."

this hotel is degrading
"when I arrived for check in at 2pm, they said, my room was not ready yet and I was asked to wait at the hospitality lounge. They promised they will call when room ready. At almost 3pm, I went down to receptionist to check the room, but they said I have no reservation, and later said that my room has not yet ready, and they tried to find other room for me. For this I could not understand. If they already have rooms ready, why not assign such ready room to me, instead of having me waiting for 1 hour to be told that my reservation was gone. When check out, only one PIC was in charge in the counter and she was just rude."
