"This is my second time staying at this hotel. I liked the room I stayed in better the first time, but I was still happy with the old world charm of this property. The breakfast is great and the staff are super friendly. My only complaint was my room was close to where bottles were being dumped into the bin, not a huge deal expect there were some nights that they would be dumping bottles multiple times well passed midnight which would wake me up with the loud crashing. "

"This hotel is great and we couldn’t fault our stay until check out time..... we had already paid for the hotel prior to our stay yet we were asked to pay again for the room! Apparently the hotel has recently changed hands and there is some issue with the accounts transferring over so the hotel isn’t currently receiving the payments people are paying ( going to the old company). "Well what can I say. Second visit to this fabulous hotel and again I can’t fault it. From the moment you walk in the grand front door, checking in and going to your room it is a delight. Lovely restored old property sympathetically completed without spoiling the grandness. Large bedrooms continue with the grandness. Breakfast, choices extend to salmon dishes with poached eggs etc, alongside the usual buffet style hot options and cereals etc. Looking forward to returning to this magnificent hotel...

"Building and rooms a little tired. No air conditioning and when asked receiption about the loud banging noise in the air circulation unit was just told to turn it off! Room didn’t have the water that should have been provided as part of the room, however when questioned this was provided without question. Cleaner never came but again reception sorted for us. All in all, the staff we spoke to on reception, the pool and breakfast room were all excellent and extremely helpful. This made the...
