Hotel murah di Aberaman

"Alles was heel proper, de kamers op het gelijkvloers leken al een make over gehad te hebben, de kamers op bovendieping nog niet. Er is geen lift aanwezig, dus als je slecht te been bent, beter beneden boeken. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het restaurant er vlak naast, deze was dik in orde, niet super uitgebreid maar wel voldoende keuze. Personeel steeds super behulpzaam en vriendelijk!"

"Very nice breakfast. No offer of a 2nd cup of tea or coffee. Bathroom needed renovation. "

"Location was the only good thing about the hotel. Disappointed from the minute we arrived. The main entrance was more like a fire exit/side door out of a night club. Reception atmosphere was cold and clinical, self check in via online screens, no warm welcome from staff even though there were a few looking on. Check in not available until 3pm. My elderly parents and I arrived approx 12pm after travelling many hours with 2 small hand luggage, to attend theatre at 2pm, so I approached staff to ask...

"We hadden zoals gevraagd 2 kamers naast elkaar. Deze waren op gelijkvloers gelegen en hadden alle voorzieningen voor minder mobiele personen. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Minpuntje is het ontbijt, daar heb je keuze tussen 3 types burgerbroodjes met 1 drank naar keuze. Misschien beter dan geen ontbijt voor te stellen."

"We wanted a place to stay near our friend wjom we were visiting and this was the closest we could find. But I will never come back to this hotel. The room was very small, ac with hot air , tried to open windows and sleep but the traffic noise was a lot. Bed was not comfortable pillows were really bad - developed backache and neck ache after the stay. We wanted a room just to sleep after roaming around but didn’t get any sleep. "It is an older property with its own charm. Location is close to shipping, restaurants, buys stops, train station, so very convenient. We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the top floor, end of the hall, so it was very quiet. Steps are narrow and steep, no elevator. Lots of exercise! Hotel staff was fabulous. St Fagans national museum of history and Caerphilly Castle are both worth visiting!"

"Wash basin drainage issue"

"The hotel felt a little run down with only one lift in operation. Breakfast was ok, the staff were responsive once I had pointed out that some of the food needed replenishing, eg fried eggs, ham and cheese. The bed was very comfortable but the TV was poor and remote had no battery cover and batteries kept on getting dislodged. Also, the TV and aerial were not plugged in when I arrived. "Stayed at The Roadhouse for one night. The location was convenient and check-in was straightforward, but the room felt very tired and in need of some updating. Décor and furnishings looked worn, and overall it didn’t feel as fresh as expected. It was fine for a short stay, but with some refurbishment it could be much better."
