"Walkable to downtown area which is a big plus since traffic and parking in the area are always bumper to bumper and pricey, respectively. "The hotel is off the main road through Gatlinburg. The surrounding area was remarkably quiet, despite the ongoing construction across the street. We walked to and from the hotel to the Aquarium, about 15 minutes. The park was easily accessible from this hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff was courteous, and breakfast was the typical hotel fare. I would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel was beautiful. The entire staff was helpful and nice, from the valet to the front desk, to the maintenance. "We stay in this hotel every year and we like it for the location, price, room configuration, two bathrooms, and shower water pressure. It's never been really clean and good smelling, but we overlook it for the above reasons. This year the stay was just terrible. The hallway and our room smelled like wet dog. "Right on the strip close, very close to everything if you hate walking. We arrived like 2 or 3 hours before check in and they let us use the parking lot early and even got the room like 30 minutes or a hour after we arrived. Breakfast was a continental with the option to microwave pancakes. They did give us another room after they saw all the issues. The new room was much better but still had visible mold and the toilet did not work well (running). This place needs to be closed for a full renovation."
