"My husband and I absolutely loved everything during our stay at the Pestana Palace. The decor was incredible with the painted ceilings and lavish architectural detailing. This historic property was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. It was styled after Versailles in France. "My husband and I spent several days at the hotel and can only say wonderful things about the staff. I had injured my foot, actually fracturing a couple bones, and they brought me bags of ice several times, delivered room service when wanted and the dining room staff was great. The weather was rather windy and rainy while we were there so didn't go in the outside pools but they were beautiful. Excellent breakfasts as well."

"Wir hatten eine Suite (#906) auf der 9. Etage mit tollem Blick, geräumig und überaus angenehm. Die Dusche war allerdings eine Zumutung und sollte endlich repariert werden. Unsere zuvor im hoteleigenen Onlineformular explizit geäußerten Wünsche wurden leider vollkommen ignoriert, was sehr enttäuschend war.
