"Bed settee, very uncomfortable, especially for such a new hotel, had to book as no twin rooms left, most uncomfortable night, had to sleep on pillows !!"

"We had travelled about 190 miles for a wedding, arriving about 12:30 and looking for suitable facilities to change in, only to be offered the use of the disabled toilet. Far from ideal, but we managed. The room like the hotel looked dated, with only 1 packet of biscuits for the 2 of us, only bathroom amenities was a small round of hand soap, a pump dispenser of soap and shampoo over the bath, and the shower wasn't up to much either. The location and views were really nice. "

"Friendly staff . Room clean . My grand daughters had sofa bed they are 12 and 9 yrs old . It was uncomfortable and hard , they slept but took a while . "

"There were only a few people staying so our room was upgraded which was nice. Staff friendly. Parking good. Bar seemed well stocked. The meal was good. We had roast dinners and couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast was quite good but the cooked breakfast was a little too dry. Downsides 1. There was a constant loud humming noise in the room. No idea what it was. 2. A fire alarm went off for ages at about 4am. It was very loud. No phone call. No knock on the door. No explanation. No apologies. After...

"We booked two rooms for a special occasion - we were allocated the Anne Boleyn and our daughter’s had the Audley rooms, both overlooking St Mary’s Church where we got married. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, dinner in the library was fabulous and breakfast was perfect. We even had good weather. Will definitely stay again"

"The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. "

"Location is perfect, close to lots of things to do and see. The staff are all very nice and friendly, can't folt them at all. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented. "Family room 22. Pros- lots of free parking, able to eat dinner and breakfast if needed, nice sized family room, good shower. Cons- uncomfortable bed really needs new matteress, sofa bed needs replacing not at all comfortable. Staff noisey in the mornings in private room opposite. "
