"Full english or continental for breakfast. Really nice and clean rooms and a great setup in the main areas (bar and eatery).
And the staff were lovely and friendly. Would suggest you tell newbies they need to tap their room key in the lift, did make me chuckle when I tapped the button to call the lift and the door opened because i couple inside it didn't know how to use it."

"With the weather being so hot the hotel didn't have air conditioning, even with fans the room was unbearable, hardly got any sleep over my 2 night stay. The hotel needs to have better provision for when it's this hot."

"Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Check in staff were really friendly and efficient. Great breakfast and lovely bar area too. Our room was lovely, overlooking the river. It was warm and with no air con the room was a little hot, but they had a fan and we asked for the window restrictor to be removed which helped a lot!
Great location, less than 10 minutes walk in to the centre of Chester.
Great stay and would stay again 😊"

"A welcoming reception on arrival. Everything explained well. Room was clean and tidy...lots of space, and ample enough room for storage! Breakfast was very relaxing, and the food was excellent ...specially the sausages 🤤😋. A good variety of cooked and continental food. And a nice cup of tea ☕ 😀
Swimming pool was lovely....it was very warm, but a good size for a cooling dip. The changing room is very small, with just 1 shower, but manageable!.
