"Super luxurious stay- staff make you feel special. In the heart of the hinterland- wallabies, cockatoos, cookaburras galore. Room had every amenity- fireplace, aircon, large shower, comfortable king bed, TV, satellite internet, binoculars and hiking backpack. Breakfast at the paddock was special"

"We loved our overnight stay at La Costa, wish we could of stayed longer. Bit out of the action but they have bikes to use for free so can get around faster. Loved the basket of goodies for breaky and snacks."

"I was happy with the room for the price. However The tv remote hardly worked. There were just 4 x teabags for two day stay, and just enough long life milk for just 2 x cuppas. No biscuits etc. Just the very basics. Staff at check it couldn't tell me about what amenities they had."

"Fully renovated rooms above the bar and bistro in the centre of town. Parking at rear could be a problem but we snared the last spot at the time on arrival. Staff were most helpful and changed our allicated riom to the rear and not above the bar. Most appreciated. Good use of space in rooms with kitchenette facilities including stovetop hotplates but no utensils for their use. Good ensuite space. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great bar and bistro downstairs for an easy relaxing evening."

"Finally a high-end hotel on the Gold Coast that doesn't feel like old money. Everything is modern, everything has been considered. The rooms are spacious and functional, and the view are incredible. The restaurants and food are top shelf. My only complaint is that there is no uniform or name tags to identify staff. Particularly when handing you bags and car keys to someone at the valet.
