"Really warm greeting from the stsff as soon as we stepped into the hotel. Quick & efficient check-in. The room was cleaned to a very high standard. Plenty of choice at breakfast - everything from a full english cooked breakfast to a continental one. My only complaint was that there was no restaurant on site, only a cafe for snacks. Overall a great stsy & would definitely revommend."

I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). "I would have rated this property an overall excellent with the exception of one major issue. The hotel is beautiful, new and has gorgeous decor. Our king room, although “compact” had NO storage for our clothes other than 5 hangers. No chest of drawers, shelves, etc. I had to stack our packing cubes on top of a vanity serving as a nightstand. "The room is very small but had a window (opened(!) a crack) and overlooked the park across the street. I stayed in The Roost which was a perfect size for me; a solo traveller. The front desk staff was helpful upon check-in and assisted with the “keyless” entry. Please be aware that seniors need a little extra time to process the technology! "The hotel is situated in a quiet, convenient area, near Buckingham Palace. Very close to Victoria Apollo, where we went to see wicked. It has a unique history, being the place that housed Queen Victoria’s servants. As a history fan, it is incredible to think that my room used to belong to one of these servants. "A less than five star for this stay as I had a silly runaround to get a receipt for my stay and the wrong card was charged. When you book ‘pay at property’, beware because what this actually means is that they charge the card used to guarantee the room automatically, on the day of arrival, so you do not have the opportunity to pay at the property with a different card if you chose to do so, nor to arrange an emailed invoice. "Room was clean and bathroom was newly renovated and unexpectedly spacious for London hotel size. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. Close to metro and Coach station. Breakfast was good and staff in the lounge was very polite and friendly. The only draw back wss the noise level, you could hear the trains running by."
