Ich war bereits zum vierten Mal in diesem Hotel und habe wie immer etwa vier Wochen im Voraus gebucht. Leider war ich dieses Mal mit meinem Zimmer nicht zufrieden. Zudem habe ich den Service an der Rezeption als nicht vollständig unterstützend empfunden. Im Vergleich zu meinen früheren Aufenthalten hat diesmal leider nicht alles reibungslos funktioniert. Schade, da ich das Hotel bisher sehr positiv in Erinnerung hatte.

Our first time in London was nothing short of amazing and a huge part of that was due to the Royal Horseguard Hotel. The staff was lovely, the room was clean, spacious and everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, and the bar inside the hotel was a plus.

Definitely less impressive than the prior times we have stayed at this property. Elevators were down most of the week and the condition of the interior was scratches and needs attention. Staff worked hard that were present. Lots of missing pieces this time

We loved our stay around the Christmas holiday. The location is perfect for exploring London and the hotel staff was inviting and helpful. Highly recommend.

Pervez the doorman is fantastic and deserves a pay rise! Sadly other members of the team are less good and exhibit more qualities of the Faulty Towers sitcom than an - allegedly - 5 star hotel. The hotel location is good. The hotel has had a minor refurbishment of some of the spaces in the last couple of years which is a good change. However, the rooms and corridors themselves are dates and not in a great state of repair. Very tired, with damage to room fabric and functionality. Many of the staff have a very poor level of English which adds to a shambolic approach managing requests for things like room service or for maintenance to fix room defects. Breakfast is mainly a buffet that is not that much better than a Premier Inn. If you’re coming expecting luxury you will be disappointed. If you’re coming expecting something “fine” but in a fantastic location at an OK price then this is for you.

Went for an anniversary weekend. Regretted it! - Irritating 'join our club to upgrade' email before arriving - which then didn't actually work or do anything if you clicked on the link. - Minor (but not terrible) queue at check-in - Room would have embarrassed a travel lodge at 20% of the price... cold, scruffy, and with a broken bed (see photos). - Cut my foot (only slightly, to be fair) on carpet gripper in the door way. - Not great sleep on the left hand side on the bed due to sag due broken bed frame - English skills of staff variable / not great... but did seem friendly. - Afternoon tea and room service did taste great - but was very expensive for what it was/the environment spoilt it a bit. - Poor comms; raised the non-functioning heating at 4pm and was told it would be looked at. Said we were out until 9pm. Came back at 9pm... it was not fixed, nor was there a temporary heater, nor any note. Have no idea if anything was attempted- but it certainly didn't succeeed. - Bathroom had a bath (nice) but was scruffy. Looks like there was once a TV at the end of the bath (now broken and covered with a print). - In room TV was a bit rubbish - no netflix, prime etc. IPlayer only if you signed in as yourself (no good for overseas visitor). 5% of what we paid for the weekend would have bought one with all of the above on it at working! Raised the above briefly with hotel upon leaving and they said they'd raise it with a manager. Not to my surprise, heard nothing back...

The room was nice. Staff nice enough. Not a fan of the no-view room for how much we paid. Their social media made it seem like there was a regular doorman on duty - we saw one doorman once. All other times we had to awkwardly open the heavy doors ourselves. it is an okay hotel in a nice location, but, overall we were disappointed and we will look elsewhere on our next visit.

今回の滞在は、非常に残念なものとなりました。まず、清掃についてです。事前に清掃をお願いして外出しましたが、夕方遅くに部屋へ戻っても清掃が入っていない日がありました。別の日に改めて清掃を依頼した際は対応していただけたものの、部屋に置かれていたコーヒーカップやグラスを、客室内のトイレの洗面所で手洗いされており、大変驚きました。また、滞在中に突然警報機が鳴ることがあり、不安を感じました。総合的な清掃も十分とは言えず、掃除機掛けは一切されていないように見受けられました。試しに小さなゴミを同じ場所に置いておいたところ、チェックイン時から変わらずそのまま残っており、清掃が行き届いていないことが明らかでした。さらに、1階の朝食バイキングについても残念な点がありました。入口に立っていた女性スタッフの対応が非常に不親切で、ホテルの印象をさらに悪くする結果となりました。立地や設備以前に、基本的な清掃と接客が整っていないと感じざるを得ません。誠に残念ですが、再度こちらのホテルを利用することはないと思います。

Good sized and comfortable room, I arrived at midday and was able to check in early with a free upgrade because my original room wasn’t ready yet which was a lovely touch. Staff were personable and smiley which helped me relax after the stress of travelling that day. The view over the Thames was amazing.

Our room was immaculate and very spacious. The hotel is gorgeous at especially at Christmas time. I can’t say enough for the porters, they are very attentive and helpful from the moment you step foot on the property.

I have stayed here several times and this visit was not what it used to be. The staff is nice but very dismissive about customer concerns. Everything is "I see what we can do" and rarely is anything done. The lobby use to be a comforable cozy place to be, warm, fire going, nice large chair, some service offered to everyone from drinks to snacks. Not this time NO one offered any of those options. The lobby was cold and no fire going~ the doors to the outside were kept open on a cold morning all through the noon hour ~ they must love paying for all the electricity. The rooms are no longer the English regal looking rooms~ the beautiful fruniture and damask bedding is has been replaced, feels more like a Holiday Inn. I asked for an extra blanket and they brought a small barely twin size THIN thing that looked like it have been around awhile ~ the thread was coming out and the edges coming undone. So very sad. Overall it was a huge disappointment staying here, the cost of course has not changed. Still expensive and honestly not worth it. Staying a modern hotel might have been just the same and not as costly. One large issue I had was the rooms thermostate was odd ~ it was either very hot or very cold and the temp would not stay stable. The have a heating/cooling problem they really need to address in this hotel. One door man was awfully forward that was a little annoying, I was a solo female traveler and he still too forward and trying too hard to be charming. Dissapointed.

Fabulous hotel in a terrific location. It would have received 5 stars, however we ran out of toilet paper, called for some more and none was delivered. We had to call again in the morning and it was promptly delivered. Luckily there was some tissue we were able to use. Also, the cleaning staff cleaned our room but didn’t empty the garbage that was full.

This hotel was recommended by a colleague for location and atmosphere. It seemed worth the premium price, to me, for the historic building and reputation. We stayed for 3 nights but only had hot water for the first half of our trip. We took icy cold showers two mornings in a row, with an evening of the same in between. Maintenance never came, after each round of complaints, and the front desk had repeated excuses for why the hot water was "just now rectified." The morning manager offered us a meager discount of 20%, that she insisted on issuing only through Expedia. We didn't have time to negotiate further as our airport transport was waiting. When I contacted Expedia, they tried to intervene with no response from the hotel. This hotel did not deliver while charging us a premium price, then they lacked integrity in rectifying their injustice. There are many other London accommodations that would surely deliver more for a better price.
