Das erste Zimmer mussten wir reklamieren, weil überall an der Wand komische weiße Farbtupfer waren und es sah echt schäbig aus. Wir waren kurz sprachlos, dass so ein Zimmer überhaupt an Gäste gegeben wird. Das zweite Zimmer war dann super und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und das Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft!

The doorman who worked from 7.00am to 4.0pm ( he wore a flat cap to keep his bald head warm and had a salt and pepper coloured beard). He was the first person we saw as we approached the door and his welcome was so friendly. He made us feel so at home before we even entered the building. He continued to greet us so warmly every time we went out. He was the star on a very impressive hotel.

I thought i would love this hotel but unfortunately i didn’t. Hotel it is at a good location, and staff clean/fix the room everyday which is nice. My room wasn’t ready so i had to wait about 30-35 minutes, not too long of a wait but i really wanted to rest. I booked the deluxe queen room but sadly the bed was quite small for two people, i have ‘vip access’ but wasnt offered any upgrade or any benefits with it. Not sure of its because an old building but was able to hear all the noise from outside, the TV wasn’t working properly so that was a bit annoying as well. Doormen were all so welcoming which was nice as well. Overall i didn’t hate this place but didn’t love it either.

I stayed at the Royal Horseguards for 7 nights. I was very impressed and would recommend this hotel. The staff are attentive and prompt. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday, and is of above average quality. The dinner I had at the hotel restaurant was great. I should also record that my 24hour flight landed at 6am in the morning, and although check-in was at 3pm, I queried whether there was the off chance my room would be ready before then. I was very thankful that per chance, it was. Thank you again!

Our room was as described and was kept spotless by housekeeping. There were nice amenitites in the room such as water kettle for tea or coffee as well as a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable. The best part of the visit was the hotel staff. They were always ready to make you visit as pleasurable as possible. This included receptionists, housekeepers, door men/hosts Pervez and Milion, concierges, and the host in the Green Parlour in the morning, Joe. Those three men added greatly to our enjoyment during our stay. We were there for one week and will definitely stay there the next time we visit London.

Wonderful Hotel, is very close to different location in central London. The staff was very gentle. The room was amazing, the only negative point, so to speak, would be that it's not very intuitive for the room lights. Apart from that, everything was great. If I ever take another trip to London, believe me, you'll be my first choice.

Although the room was adequate it was not the quality expected of a premium London hotel. There was no hot water for showers in the morning then we had a 20 minute queue for breakfast which caused us to be 2 minutes late for checking out whereupon we were locked out of our room. The hotel clearly couldn’t cope with the number of guests and when we complained at checkout the manageress simply stated there was nothing she could do and to take it up with Expedia as that’s where we booked. The hotel is beautiful. Staff were very helpful. We throughly enjoyed the breakfast.

My vacation was almost ruined because the room was soooooo cold (we called it fridge), wondering if it is normal in UK for hotels to keep their guest rooms cold to save money? That would be pathetic. To make it worse, nobody was even trying to help after i brought it up to the front desk. Be aware, their frontdesk does not like to pick up phone calls! I had to go down to talk to them. So one word to summarize my entire stay: COLD, COLD room and COLD staff. Have to give one star, maybe for the location, but this subway station does not have lift, not with one star, but i don’t have a zero star choice any way! P.S. if you read reviews in December 2025, other people also complained about room temperature. Wondering if they have really bad AC system that keeps breaking? Or they do not fix the broken one, instead they give it to the next customers?

Room was clean and tidy. For a 5star hotel I found it disappointing Staff didnt inform us how to order breakfast or order in the restuarant as we didnt book breakfast as part of the package. Room had all the standard amenities. Tea and coffee kept in a drawer in the room. Disappointed that the mini fridge only had one of each item . For the price of the room and service , we could have stayed at Premier Inn.

I was disappointed before I even arrived by incredibly slow responses from the contact email - I wanted to know if I could have early check in; and getting a response takes nearly 24hrs. Don't bother contacting them via Expedia - they won't reply. The email I send detailing the reason for our stay didn't end up being forwarded to the front desk until after we'd checked in. Room was fine - clean and comfortable. Front desk were indifferent. The only good thing about the hotel is the lovely man on the door - Perves. He was the only helpful member of staff I dealt with (the concierge at bag check was nice too). Sadly we won't be returning!

The staff from the doorman. To the Concierge, to the from desk were top notch! I room was spacious and had a great view of the Thames! We were delighted with our stay!
