Das Zimmer war super. Die Lage des Hotels war ideal für einen Städtetrip und von außen sah es umwerfend aus, wie ein Schloss mit einem schönen Garten. Die Rezeption und die Aufzüge sind ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber wirken trotzdem noch nobel. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht.

Lovely stay here! Great location and walkable to a lot of stuff! The staff was super friendly and accommodating and bed was comfortable. The heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom was a nice bonus! Definitely would recommend !

Javier and Joe were amazing. I highly recommend this hotel the heritage and the history is exceptional.

Property is nice in a fantastic location. Not sure if I would stay again though. Butlers were very friendly and again, excellent location, but thats where it ends. Elevators take forever. Thermostats in the rooms dont work - if you want the heat on, its permanent - so you either sleep in a sweat lodge or turn it off and wake up freezing at 2am to turn it on to pre-heat. Shower pressure is non-existent and our departure morning had no hot water - epic fail for the first week of January. Another huge miss was they make you check out at 11am, but the restaurant closes as 11 until lunch at 12:30. So we had to leave our bags in the lobby walk to find food elsewhere then come back to catch a taxi to the airport. Staff were all really nice and friendly and location is huge- but the rest was a total fail.

Thank you so much! We had some issues with our room at first, but the manager took care and made sure that we had a wonderful rest of our stay. We are looking forward to returning in March!

The rooms are nicely appointed. Our room was quite small and the storm windows were not properly fastened. With high winds, they rattled all night and the room was uncomfortably cold. However, maintenance fixed the rattle quickly and we had a portable heater thst kept the room very cozy for the remainder of the stay Staff was excellent and the hotel lobby festive for Christmas. Would definitely stay again.

Chatting and smoke breaks were visible. *the grandeur of the hotel is over marketed *complimentary snacks and beverages not refilled and when asked extremely delayed or never arrived *toilet water ran after flushing continuously *mold around tub and faucets and behind soaps *not family-Kid friendly Note NYE passes to the fireworks and phuyscal address the only perks of stay at the hotel

Good location, but rooms and facilities need refurbishment The hotel is well located, which is a clear positive. However, the rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment. The heating system in our room did not work at all, including the underfloor heating in the bathroom. In addition, there appeared to be an electrical issue: one of the light fixtures would switch on by itself at night and remain dimly lit (around 20% brightness), which was quite disruptive. Elevator operation was also problematic. The lifts moved in an unusual manner, and one of the three elevators seemed to be out of service. This resulted in waiting times of up to 10 minutes during peak hours, particularly for guests staying on higher floors.

Sehr entgegenkommendes und freundliches Personal und eimaliger Blick vom Bett aus auf die Themse. Für eingefleischte Theatergeher und Kunstfreunde, ein idealer Startpunkt für viele Aktivitäten.

Ich war bereits zum vierten Mal in diesem Hotel und habe wie immer etwa vier Wochen im Voraus gebucht. Leider war ich dieses Mal mit meinem Zimmer nicht zufrieden. Zudem habe ich den Service an der Rezeption als nicht vollständig unterstützend empfunden. Im Vergleich zu meinen früheren Aufenthalten hat diesmal leider nicht alles reibungslos funktioniert. Schade, da ich das Hotel bisher sehr positiv in Erinnerung hatte.

Our first time in London was nothing short of amazing and a huge part of that was due to the Royal Horseguard Hotel. The staff was lovely, the room was clean, spacious and everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, and the bar inside the hotel was a plus.

Definitely less impressive than the prior times we have stayed at this property. Elevators were down most of the week and the condition of the interior was scratches and needs attention. Staff worked hard that were present. Lots of missing pieces this time

Pervez the doorman is fantastic and deserves a pay rise! Sadly other members of the team are less good and exhibit more qualities of the Faulty Towers sitcom than an - allegedly - 5 star hotel. The hotel location is good. The hotel has had a minor refurbishment of some of the spaces in the last couple of years which is a good change. However, the rooms and corridors themselves are dates and not in a great state of repair. Very tired, with damage to room fabric and functionality. Many of the staff have a very poor level of English which adds to a shambolic approach managing requests for things like room service or for maintenance to fix room defects. Breakfast is mainly a buffet that is not that much better than a Premier Inn. If you’re coming expecting luxury you will be disappointed. If you’re coming expecting something “fine” but in a fantastic location at an OK price then this is for you.

Went for an anniversary weekend. Regretted it! - Irritating 'join our club to upgrade' email before arriving - which then didn't actually work or do anything if you clicked on the link. - Minor (but not terrible) queue at check-in - Room would have embarrassed a travel lodge at 20% of the price... cold, scruffy, and with a broken bed (see photos). - Cut my foot (only slightly, to be fair) on carpet gripper in the door way. - Not great sleep on the left hand side on the bed due to sag due broken bed frame - English skills of staff variable / not great... but did seem friendly. - Afternoon tea and room service did taste great - but was very expensive for what it was/the environment spoilt it a bit. - Poor comms; raised the non-functioning heating at 4pm and was told it would be looked at. Said we were out until 9pm. Came back at 9pm... it was not fixed, nor was there a temporary heater, nor any note. Have no idea if anything was attempted- but it certainly didn't succeeed. - Bathroom had a bath (nice) but was scruffy. Looks like there was once a TV at the end of the bath (now broken and covered with a print). - In room TV was a bit rubbish - no netflix, prime etc. IPlayer only if you signed in as yourself (no good for overseas visitor). 5% of what we paid for the weekend would have bought one with all of the above on it at working! Raised the above briefly with hotel upon leaving and they said they'd raise it with a manager. Not to my surprise, heard nothing back...
