The May Fair, A Radisson Collection Hotel, Mayfair London
10/10 Excellent
"Although our room was spartan in decoration, the staff were exceedingly friendly, kind, and accommodating. I would have liked a bit more storage space and two bottles of water rather than one. The rooms were made up quickly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar had a tremendous selection and a knowledgeable bartender. Also, the food was very tasty. The concierge was a miracle worker. I recommend staying at this hotel."
"Very good location but just average room, no windows and AC wasn't amazing so could feel a bit trapped with no fresh air or windows. Good if you have plans and don't need to stay in the room for long periods apart from sleeping"
"We had a deluxe room. When we arrived there was not any milk on the hospitality tray. We asked at reception and were told they did not have any available! The next day we asked if we could have the room serviced and we were told you had to request this. So we asked if they could note that we would like our room serviced. This did not happen at all during our 3 night stay. Not impressed."
"I will start by saying that I would highly recommend the 1 Hotel Mayfair. The staff are lovely & the rooms are great. This is my 3rd stay there & it didn’t go quite as well as it has in the past. I always bring my dog with me and they usually provide dog wipes so that you can wipe off their feet before entering the hotel room and those were unfortunately not provided this time and they said that they didn’t have them. That was a bummer because I would’ve brought my own, but I didn’t because I anticipated them being in the room again. I would say my biggest disappointment was with room service. I would not recommend the tomato Barada pizza. It is covered in dried tomato paste and then portions of Barada, but it was not very tasty and it was just not what I had expected at all. The tomato sauce is weird and even the Barada is a little weird. In the morning, I ordered a California burrito and ask them to add a few ingredients. They forgot the tomatoes, but they added spicy pickles and because I absolutely hate pickles. The whole burrito was pretty much ruined. When I called them and let them know about it, they said that they would try to take it off the bill. They did in fact take it off of the Bill, but I had a little giggle over the fact that they still charged me for the Latte. I would’ve thought that they would’ve Just exited out the entire breakfast, Bill. It’s not a big deal. I just found it a little funny. The last thing that I would say is that there were a few things i"
"We were very pleased with this hotel. Staff and hotel itself were wonderful. We had a one bedroom, with a sofa bed for our daughter, and it was a good space.
Walking distance to all the sights.
Would definitely stay here again!"
