Once we figured out where the A/C unit was it was great to have that working cause June in Venice was a hot one :) The instructions did not match (nor the remote) the pictures they listed in their instruction manual. The owner is so helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us since we had an early arrival. Very nice, safe area with plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. "It was ok for one night, but would not recommend for longer stay. Felt more like a higher end hostel than a multi star hotel. Staff wasn’t always present on site. Did not accommodate with early check in even though we emailed and messaged requesting early check in months ahead of time"

"The front desk staff were so helpful in recommending places to suit our interests. We changed the duration of our stay and they accommodated us and even helped us move to the new rooms. The entire staff helped us in everything. They were very warm and friendly. They went over and beyond the call of duty in flagging down a taxi to handle 3 big bags. "I have a good experience stay at cassiodoro. The host stefan superb! He very comunicative, gave the best restaurant and tips to travel in Rome. He help us too when we need a cab when we check out. The place on a quite and safety area, near to vatican city. If you using Metro you walk around 15-20 minutes, and if you using a bus you can get less. Recommend accomodation near to vatican city. "
