"This was a good place to stay close to Ohio State University. Placed our reservation on line. The signs say Fairfield but once we got inside the desk clerk said welcome to the comfort Inn by Marriott. Very confusing. Cleanliness and upkeep of the property was fair at best. I think the upkeep was the biggest problem making it look less clean. It was a nice room and comfortable bed but the bathroom light was attached to the fan and it squealed for a long time after being turned on. Finally the...

"I didn't get to stay during this work weekend, due to my boss had a family medical emergency! I paid ahead for two rooms plus the insurance and didn't know until the last minute we were not going to Ann Arbor for this trip. I cancelled thru Expedia, I cancelled thru Spark. But no one would reimburse my Bosses credit card. I shouldn't have to go thru the insurance company to get my money back. We didn't stay, the rooms were open for someone else to stay in, they still could've been filled...

"Location to everything was great. Wait staff was great. House keeping was friendly. Hot tub was broken the entire stay. Told us we could use the partner hotel next store and then told us that one was broken also. Vomit on floor next to bed we found on day two, advised the front desk (hard to locate person from front desk almost always) and they said it would be taken care of. It was not. Submitted images of it to even directly. Will not stay there again."

"This Hampton Inn is very nice, in great shape and clean. My room was little on the small side but very nice, clean and an excellent bed. The pool was clean and a good temperature. Breakfast was the usual free fare, fine but nothing exceptional. This hotel and several others are just two minutes off of I 94. Easy in and out when traveling on a schedule. Rate was very reasonable on a week night and an off week. Like everything around Ann Arbor the rates are much higher during football season and...

"Against my better judgement, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. After I tracked down a member of the staff to check me in.....which was irritating after a long day of travel, they were really nice. Stepping into my suite was like arriving to a 1991 fever dream. If I wasn't so exhausted, I would have never used the tub, but I'm glad I did....it was wonderful! "Clean room, comfortable bed, and wonderful staff. Pillows were awful. One of the pillows was hard like a book. Could have used better toiletries like tissues and both conditioner and shampoo rather than just shampoo."

"Excellent staff but the place was very run down. Smelled like a dog when we walked in and our room smelled like old cooking grease. No shampoo in the bathroom. Dressers and furniture were really beat up. I get that it is not a luxury hotel, but for $250/ night (graduation weekend price gouging), it was hard to swallow. Not gonna extend my stay here."

"The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I felt so unsafe here I got there and immediately left, was told they would approve a refund because I was led astray, and just got denied the refund because Expedia couldn’t get ahold of anyone to approve it for days. I’m out of 150 bucks for this disgusting place."

"The hot tub that was pictured has since been filled in. The Gym was not open at all. No towels in the swimming area. Booked 1 room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch, there was no such room available. Front desk lady was nice but wasn’t able to fix any of the billing errors. Place says non smoking but several times it stunk of marijuana. Free hot breakfast was a big joke. Toasted waffles, prepackaged danish and a little fruit was all that was available."
