"Room 12, ground floor front on a very, very quiet street was spacious with a comfortable queen bed. The shower was tiny but did its job. The continental breakfast was superb--lots of choices, all of excellent quality. Very pleasant staff."

"This was a nice place to stay in Bath. 15 minuted walk from the train station and within walking distance to everything else as well. The room was very clean, the staff were nice, and the food was good. We stayed for two nights and had nothing to complain about. We visited Bath during an English heat wave and the air conditioning in the room was absolutely perfect. Would come again."

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Lovely hotel with excellent amenities. Well appointed rooms, super comfortable and really nice staff. Zero complaints. Wonderful stay and would recommend to all! We stayed in a large room which was really spacious, great air con which we didn’t have to touch during our stay which was in the heatwave. Fab breakfast, lovely touches like the pantry! Excellent."

"For the price, the hotel did not stand up to other properties. Very little in the way of dining. The AC in our living room did not work. Maintainence came but didnt fixed it, left a fan insteas. Temperature was at the consistent 27 C our 3 day stay. Parking off site. Location of hotel was near points of interest and restaurants. Staff was helpful."

"Hotel is located in the center of Bath and 12 minutes walk to Roman Bath. Walking to Jane Austen Center, circus or Royal Cresent all within 15 minutes. Room is well sized and tastefully decorated and sparkly clean. Have to mention that the bathroom was beautifully designed. Amenities provided was great, like kettle, coffee press machine, safe, etc. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Although it is in central area but night time the street was very quiet. "Beautiful property, self checkin but no problems. Was hot and had a good fan but no air conditioning which is understandable in a historic Georgian building. At least we did not have steps. A fridge in the room would be good but there is a small communal fridge in the common area. Breakfast was amazing and staff friendly. Would definely recommend it. We left our car there and walked around the city."

"Immaculate and royal-ish property I have ever stayed. Feel like a queen in her elegant palace which original stones exterior and classical and well care interior. "The room is best described as a hotel pod! Very tiny, best suited for solo travellers for sure! Not suitable for tall people lol as our room at least was only 6 feet wide and the bed was the full of it. "We arrived late after a stressful journey and the hotel couldn't have been a better antidote. The room service was excellent, the food genuinely good, and the bath alone was worth the trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. We didn't get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but what we did was enough to make us want to come back and do it properly. A genuinely restorative stay."

"We visited again after a few years to celebrate our anniversary at the hotel we got married in. We arrived early via the park and ride bus which stops outside and left our bags at reception. When we returned, check in was quick. The room was lovely and spacious and the shower was great. Breakfast was lovely. We will definitely return."
