"I was put right at the top. It might have been nice to be in a lower room as I had a lot of bags. No one answered the telephone. The room was a bit tired and worn, not worthy of the price paid. It felt more like an elderly bnb than a boutique hotel. "

"This hotel is not 5 star, it’s more like1 star. It’s very worn, poor quality furnishings and overall is extremely tired. I recently booked and when I arrived and saw the room refused to stay. The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s. "In the heart of Bath with a rustic and charismatic feel. Fantastic gin bar opposite the front door and restaurants, bars, cinema and Sainsburys close by (100-500 meters). Steep and narrow staircase to the loft apartment. Two large bedrooms, spacious liver, kitchen diner and a bathroom. The internet is slow but did not spoil a wonderful stay. "
