"Beautiful historic building that had everything we needed for a lovely stay in DC. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the location was perfect for site-seeing in DC. Within walking distance to thee White House and most of the museums on the national mall. Also close to many great restaurants and the metro and Fords Theater. The Riggs restaurant is also excellent with excellent service. They have a large gym downstairs and many great amenities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable....

"it’s a very european type hotel and I really enjoyed it. room was a bit small but it was fine for two. the ability to control the room from an ipad was awesome. staff was great, helped us every time. very kind as well. good area not far from a metro or parking"
