"Really can’t fault this hotel. There were about 10 different restaurants and all delicious. My favourites were the Argentina steakhouse, Teppanyaki and Indian. The staff are super polite and attentive. The pool is so warm it’s like a bath. The cocktails are to die for. Very few menus but the staff can make absolutely anything we asked for without batting an eyelid. True professionals. Our butler, Christopher, was wonderful and attended to all our needs, kept our mini bar stocked each day and dealt with all our restaurant bookings. The only slight negative was the spa prices. Absolutely ridiculous at $250-350 USD. There are constant people walking round the pool offering to discount it but even at 50% discount it’s still expensive. Note, if you get a £10 uber into Cancun a massage costs $55 for 50 mins and you get a free facial too!!"

"the entertainment was absolutely phenomenal. the customer service was perfection! so nice and attentive, the pools were so nice, and the mixed drinks were 10/10! HOWEVER, the food is not it. the food is mediocre to be honest, the buffet never changes options, its the same options all the time, not really any protein options, not even like chicken, it was very limited the amount of times we saw chicken as an option. no steak, except once when we were able to book the steakhouse dinner, and even that was just ok. but everything else was so nice!"

"Amazing property and staff. One of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. When booking on the Club side of the resort do not get confused when they say that your room comes with a butler...they are not butlers like you might think. Many people probably think about Downton Abbey or The Fresh Prince of Bel Aire. They are just customer service employees assigned to you. They do not do anything like a butler would do. They just check to see if your trip is going good. The resort should change the title of the position to personal customer service representative. The title butler puts a thought into your mind that is not near fulfilled."

"Very nice resort, clean and newly built. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive at all times. Food at the buffet was good but buffet only open for breakfast and lunch. A La Carte restaurants were ordinary with service being so fast that you seemed hurried despite the relative low number of patrons. The pools were very nice, but the ocean was full of Sargassum. Was not pleasant. Stayed by the pool all week. Would definitely return in a season where the seaweed is less present."

"We had a wonderful stay at the SLS Playa Mujeres. Our room was very clean and well maintained, as was the property as a whole. We spent most of our time at the adults only pool and the wait and bar staff were amazing! Our bartender, Victor was the best!! We got engaged while on our trip, and the staff were so helpful in setting up a private dinner for us and an engagement photo session the next day. The food was overall very good as well, with the exception of the Italian restaurant, I would skip that one. Overall, the resort has everything you could need and at a very reasonable price!!"
